It was commissioned by Henri d&#8217;Orl\u00e9ans, Duke of Aumale, who filled it with his art collections. The estate is now known as the Cond\u00e9 Museum and features remarkable gardens and the Grandes \u00c9curies, which house the Museum of the Horse.
